  13. DESCRIPTION

  15. When installing OS/2 Warp (all releases) with the statement 
  16. BASEDEV=CMD640X.ADD loading in the CONFIG.SYS file, the system will 
  17. lock up either on IBM1S506.ADD or CMD640X.ADD. This is a compatibility 
  18. problem with the CMD640X.ADD device driver.

  22. When installing OS/2 Warp, make sure that the CMD640X.ADD driver is not 
  23. loading in the CONFIG.SYS. Use IBM1S506.ADD or IBMINT13.I13 for any IDE 
  24. controllers in the system
