  5. Unable to Recognize File System After Choosing Easy or Advanced

  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. During installation of OS/2 Warp 4, after choosing either Easy or 
  14. Advanced installation, a message states that OS/2 does not recognize 
  15. the file system on the partition.
  16.  
  17. RESOLUTION
  18.  
  19. 1. Restart the system with the OS/2 Warp 4 Installation Diskette,
  20.    inserting Diskettes 1 and 2 when prompted. 
  21.  
  22. 2. At the Easy/Advanced Installation screen, press F3 to escape to a 
  23.    command prompt.
  24.  
  25. 3. Type FDISK, then press Enter. 
  26.  
  27. 4. Verify that the partitions are set correctly, not over 2 G in size, 
  28.    and that the installable partition is within the 1024 cylinder limit.
