  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. During installation of Multi-Protocol LAN Support (MPTS), the following
  14. message is received at the final restart:
  15.  
  16.    SYS1919:file D:\CID\LCU\SRVREXX.EXE in RUN statement in
  17.    CONFIG.SYS is not a valid file.
  18.  
  19. The CD-ROM no longer works.
  20.  
  21. RESOLUTION
  22.  
  23. 1. Insert the Installation Diskette in drive A.
  24.  
  25. 2. Start the system, or press Ctrl+Alt+Del if it is already started.
  26.  
  27. 3. Follow the instructions on the screen. When the Welcome screen
  28.    appears, press F3 to get the command prompt.
  29.  
  30. 4. Edit the CONFIG.SYS file on the hard disk and remove all references
  31.    to x:\CID (x is the letter for the CD-ROM drive). This includes the
  32.    RUN statement and all paths.
  33.  
  34. 5. Save and exit the file; then restart the system.
  35.  
  36. The system starts installing the Connectivity products.
