  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. In OS/2 2.1, with Multimedia Presentation Manager/2 (MMPM/2) installed, 
  14. Easytape software and Irwin tape drives cannot be accessed correctly. 
  15. There also might be problems accessing diskette drives or tape drives 
  16. that are connected to a diskette-drive controller.

  18. RESOLUTION

  20. Note: Make sure you have a backup of any file you intend to change.
  21.  
  22. 1. Edit the CONFIG.SYS file and remark-out (REM) all references to the
  23.    MMPM/2 drivers.
  24.  
  25. 2. Save and exit the file.
  26.  
  27. 3. Shut down and then restart the system.
  28.  
  29. Note: MMPM/2 will not work correctly, if at all, after this change, but
  30.       you will be able to access the drive units and software.
