  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. An Adaptec AHA-2940 SCSI PCI Host Adapter was installed in a Dell 
  14. Optiplex XL590. When OS/2 Warp is started, the system locks up.
  15.  
  16. The driver provided by Adaptec is AIC7870.ADD, dated 8-08-95, 2:44 a.m.,
  17. with a file size of 40,956 bytes. It displays the following when used 
  18. with the /V option:

  35. The problem is with the IBM1S506.ADD driver on the OS/2 Warp Connect CD.
  36. This file is dated 4-21-95 and has a size of 28,900 bytes. Replacing 
  37. this driver with the one in the latest OS/2 Warp FixPak corrects the 
  38. startup problems. The new driver is dated 8-28-95 and has a size of 
  39. 31,240 bytes.
