  11. DESCRIPTION
  12.  
  13. When connected to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and opening the 
  14. Retrieve Software Updates utility program, the following message is 
  15. received:
  16.  
  17.    Unable to connect to "....", errno = 10061.
  18.  
  19. RESOLUTION
  20.  
  21. The problem occurs because of a server reconfiguration at Advantis.
  22.  
  23. 1. Point at the Retrieve Software Updates icon and click mouse button 2
  24.    to display the pop-up menu.
  25.  
  26. 2. Click on Settings to open the Settings notebook.
  27.  
  28. 3. In the Path and file name field, type LINKUP.EXE.
  29.  
  30. 4. In the Parameters field, type:

  32.       UPDATE.EXE /h ftp01.ny.us.ibm.net
  33.  
  34. 5. Leave the Working directory field blank.
  35.  
  36. 6. Close the Settings notebook.
  37.  
  38. If you still get this error after making the changes, the server might 
  39. be down; try again later. If the problem continues, contact OS/2 
  40. Technical Support at 407-994-4777.
