XR06200 SVGA mode cause corruption on S3 4/26/94

After XR06200 SVGA mode cause color corruption on S3 systems.
DESCRIPTION OF SYMPTOMS:
After installing XR06200 and setting system up to run in SVGA
mode desktop boots to a gray desktop, scroll bars are black and so
are the icons.
SUMMARY OF RESOLUTION:
Edit the SVGADATA.PMI file to reference an unknown RAM DAC.
DETAILS OF RESOLUTION:
1. If system is not use able then run RSPDSPI to bring system
down to VGA mode.
2. Install SVGA support via DSPINSTL, DO NOT RE-BOOT.
3. Open an OS/2 session.
4. CD to the OS2 sub-directory.
5. Open the SVGADATA.PMI file with an editor.
6. Scroll to the section called OCleanupt
7. Edit the following:
Change the following statement from:
HI-COLOR DAC by ....
to:
HI-COLOR DAC by unknown
8. Save the file.
9. Shut down and re-boot system.
