migrate the following executable files using the
migration utility:
1) Config.exe
2) Direct.exe
3) Recovery.exe
4) Dbm.cmd
5) Querymgr.exe
b. The files are located in the \Sqllib directory on the
partition where Data Base Manager was initially
installed. If you don't know where Data Base
Manager was installed, type the following command at
the root of each partition:
1) attrib dbm.cmd /s
a) If the dbm.cmd file is on the partition, it
will display after the command is executed.
2. Steps to Migrate the Files
a. Double click on the OS2 System, System Setup and
then the Migrate Applications icon to open up the
Find Programs window.
b. Make sure the OS/2 programs option is the "only"
one checked.
c. Make sure the letter of the drive which contains
Database Manager is the "only" one highlighted.
d. Click on the Find button which opens the Migrate
Programs window.
e. Select OK that there were no programs found to
migrate.
f. Click on the Add Programs button to open the Add
Programs window.

Selected Programs

The procedure is to highlight one file at a
time, in the Available Programs window, and
then click on Add. When you click on Add,
the file is moved from the Available
Programs window to the Selected Programs
window.
**Note** You will need to use the
left/right and up/down scroll arrows to
find the files in the Available Programs
window. File names are on the left followed
by their drive letter and directory.
Scrolling to the right exposes the
directories making it easier to find the
\SQLLIB directory which contains the files
you need to add.
h. After all the file names listed above have been
added to the Selected Programs window, make sure
OS2 is selected as the program type and click on OK.

arrow on top of the Program icon and press and hold the
right mouse button. While continuing to hold the right
mouse button, drag the Program Icon to an empty area
of the desktop and then release the mouse button.

is dropped on the desktop. The Program page should
be open.
