  40. | Please AUTOSTART the following CM traces:
  41. | Under TRACE SELECTIONS choose:  APPC & IBMTRNET*
  42. |      *or the appropiate DLC
  43. | Under ADVANCE TRACE SELECTIONS choose: EVENTS 1,2,3,4,5,& 12
  44. | Trace record size: 128
  45. | Trace storage size: 16 X 64
  46. | Reference Informational APAR II06459.

  48. | Stop Communications Manager and in CMLIB sub-directory,
  49. | erase ERROR.DAT and MESSAGE.DAT.

  51. | If CM Level 2 requested a trace of the IEE802.2 frames:

  53. |   On the workstation add the
  54. |   following trace parameters to the files as listed below.
  55. |   These parameters will start a trace of the IEE802.2 flow.

  61. |   In PROTOCOL.INI under LANDD_nif add

  79. |    These commands will stop and save the IEE802.2 trace:

  81. |        in an OS/2 Window enter:
  82. |            TRACE OFF
  83. |            TRACEFMT
  84. |            (Using the pull down menus, save the file as
  85. |             A:"pmr number".802)

  87. |   On the workstation, copy the CM trace to a file called
  88. |      A:"pmr number".TRC
