  1. Recovery of Database Manager icons              12/15/92

  3.       To recover the Database Manager icons do the following:
  4.  
  5.       1. Open Migrate Applications in the OS/2 System\System Setup folder.
  6.       2. Select "OS/2 Programs" and select the drive which has SQLLIB.
  7.       3. Select "Find...". No programs should be returned in this step.
  8.       4. Select "Add programs...".
  9.       5. When the panel returns, scroll the 'Available programs' window
  10.          until you come to SQLLIB.
  11.       6. Click to highlight and click 'Add>>' individually for each of
  12.          the following programs:
  13.          CONFIG.EXE   (Configuration Tool)
  14.          DBM.CMD      (Command Line Interface)
  15.          DIRECT.EXE   (Directory Tool)
  16.          QUERYMGR.EXE (Query Manager)
  17.          RECOVERY.EXE (Recovery Tool)
  18.       7. Click 'OK' and then on the next panel click 'Migrate'.
  19.       8. When this completes there should be a folder on the desktop
  20.          called 'Additional OS/2 programs' that will contain all the
  21.          desired programs. You can either rename this folder to
  22.          "Database Manager" or copy the icons to the Database Manager
  23.          folder and delete the other one. The icons will also need to
  24.          be renamed since they will have the names of the actual files.

  26.       To recover the icons in the Extended Services folder do the following:
  27.  
  28.          1. From the templates folder, copy 6 program icons into the
  29.             ES folder. The appropriate titles and settings are as
  30.             follows (substitute appropriate drive letter for C).
  31.             Only the settings mentioned need be changed.

  35.              Optional parameters: ESCMDREF.INF
  36.              Working directory:  C:\OS2\BOOK

  38.             Each of the following are OS/2 full screen sessions.
