  9. Please Read Entire Document For Full Explanation of Procedures

  12. Make a DISKCOPY of the diskette that is bad and try
  13. to continue the installation.
  14.  
  15. If you get the same problem with the diskette, call vendor
  16. and request a replacement diskette with the point of sale.
  17.  
  18. If they do NOT have the replacement diskette, contact the
  19. LOCAL IBM branch office, listed in local area phone
  20. book, to request a replacement.

  22. If you still cannot obtain the replacement diskette call:

  29. The following is a list of errors or reasons for bad diskettes:

  31.     SYS02025 & SYS02027
  32.     SYS2025 & SYS2027
  33.     SYS0041 CRC error (cyclic redundancy error or check)
  34.     SYS0045 Bad sectors, Unrecoverable read errors
  35.     System beeps when you insert diskette
  36.     Continually prompts for the diskette to be inserted
  37.     Diskette is corrupted, damaged, erased, doesn't work
  38.     Mismarked diskette
  39.     Unfixable or unrecoverable errors
  40.     System hangs on any diskette
  41.     Drive A:  cannot find the sector requested
  42.     No files on diskette
  43.     Could not read the diskette
