The program MailCut is Freeware.
Everybody can use, copy and distribute it on his own risk.
It is not allowed to sell the program.
Install:
════════
(1) Copy the file "MAILCUT.EXE" into a directory which is part of your
Path-Statement.
(2) Copy the file "KBDVIO32.DLL" into a direcory which is part of your
Libpath-Statement or copy it into the same directory as the file
"MAILCUT.EXE"
Using:
══════
MailCut is an utility for converting EMAIL-Files from Netscape, Elm
and Eudora in the fileformat of PM-MAIL.
The 3 programs save the all EMAILS from on folder in on big file .
PM-MAIL saves every EMAIL in one file. For every folder it uses a
subdirectory.
* ELM:
There is a file called "received". This file is the "received"-folder.
Use this file for converting the EMAILS.
* EUDORA:
For every folder there is a file with the same name and the extension "mbx".
Use this file for converting the EMAILS.
* NETSCAPE:
For every folder there is a file with the same name without an extension.
Use this file for converting the EMAILS.
Copy the file into an empty directory and start MailCut with the parameters
described in the following list:
Syntax: mailcut -nrXX -tYY mailfile
│ │ │
│ │ └Name of the sourcefile
│ │
│ └Filetype of the sourcefile
│ YY=elm, netscape, eudora
│
└Number of the first destinationfile
XX=0 => m0000000.msg
XX=124 => m0000124.msg
Example: mailcut -nr0 -telm received
mailcut -nr0 -tnetscape inbox
mailcut -nr0 -teudora in.mbx
After Converting the file copy all files with the extension "msg" in
one of the Mail-Folders from PM-MAIL. Use "Re-index" in the Menu "Folder"
for importing the new EMAILS.
