  1.             OS/2 LaserJet Driver 13.413C
  2.        For HP DeskJet 1200C and HP PaintJet XL300

  7.   This diskette contains OS/2 2.x LaserJet printer driver
  8. version 13.413C.
  9.   The driver supports HP II, III, and 4 series laserJet
  10. printers, as well as HP DeskJet 1200C and HP PaintJet XL300.

  12.   Driver installation
  13.  
  14. 1.   Insert the driver disk into the A (or other) drive of
  15.      your computer.
  16. 2.   Open the printer object settings, select "Printer driver".
  17. 3.   Use right mouse button to click on any printer icon, select
  18.      "Install".
  19. 4.   Select "other OS/2 printer driver" and then "Refresh".
  20. 5.   Select LASERJET.HP DeskJet 1200C or other printers you want
  21.      then click on "Install".
  22. 6.   Select the printer driver you installed as Default printer
  23.      driver.

  26. For OS/2 2.1 you may do the following to enhance color quality:
  27.  
  28.   Display.dll
  29.   To improve the photo-bitmap color printing quality, Display.dll
  30. has also been modified. To install the new display.dll, boot your
  31. system with OS/2 2.1 installation disk and then #1 disk. Quit the
  32. installation and type:
  33.     copy a:display.dll c:\os2\dll
  34.     (where c is you OS/2 boot driver.)
  35.     Then reboot your system.
  36.   You can use DOS boot disk to do the same procedure.

  39.   HP-GL/2 option
  40.   Select HP-GL/2 option will greatly improve printing speed and
  41. reduce the spooler space in many graphic printing cases. However,
  42. due to certain limitations in HP-GL/2 mode, deselect this option
  43. if you find your printer output is different from the screen.

  45.   Large buffer option
  46.   Select this option if your system has 8 meg. or more RAM
  47. memory.
