  4.  The main window allows you to make the most important settings directly by 
  5.  using the respective functions. For a more detailed printer setup use the 
  6.  dialog boxes.

  8.  When you click on the OK button you will exit the driver; the most important 
  9.  settings will be saved.

  11.  When you click on the Cancel button you will exit the driver; any changes, 
  12.  however, will not be saved. 
  13.  
  14.  When you click on the Help button a help text for this window will be 
  15.  displayed. When you press the F1 key a help text for the active element will 
  16.  be displayed.

  24. Line wraps will be correct only if the format settings in the driver match 
  25. those of the printer. Therefore, you have to specify here the paper format 
  26. loaded into the printer.

  28. Use the selection field "Paper format" to load a predefined paper format.

  30. Use the associated button "╨┐" to open the dialog box Paper formats, where you 
  31. can define new paper formats.

  38. Use these buttons to specify the orientation of your printout:

  40.  Portrait:     The document is printed in portrait orientation.

  42.  Landscape:    The printout will be rotated by 90┬░. This function is 
  43.                particularly important when using printers which are not able to 
  44.                load paper with the wide side first. If you select the format A4 
  45.                Landscape in your application program and A4 in the driver, you 
  46.                can print documents in Landscape orientation.

  53. In this field you can enter the number of copies you want to print. The printer

  104.         enables the best possible presentation of colors or gray scales.

  106.  Off:   Palette mode with mit 8 bit per pixel. This mode with 256 colors saves 
  107.         memory and computing time.

  114. Select the paper source you want to use. Depending on the printer model and the 
  115. Options you can select one of the various paper sources.:

  117.  Manual feed:   Load each sheet of paper separately into the printer.

  119.                 Before printing a new page the Print Manager prompts you to 
  120.                 load a new sheet of paper. 
  121.  
  122.  Bin 1:         The printer loads the paper from bin 1 of the cut sheet feeder. 
  123.  
  124.  Bin 2:         The printer loads the paper from bin 2 of the cut sheet feeder. 
  125.  
  126.  Bin 1/2:       The printer loads the first sheet from bin 1, all other sheets 
  127.                 will be loaded from bin 2.

  129.  Tractor:       The printer loads continuous paper from the tractor unit .

  136. This option lets you adapt the print image to your requirements on print 
  137. quality or print speed.

  143. where you can define new print image settings.

  150. This option lets you define the parameters for controlling the print image.

  152.  Selection:         Assign a name to the specified print image or select one of

  155.  Resolution:        Use this option to specify the resolution for graphics 
  156.                     printing.

  158.  Print quality:     Select the print quality of the printer's built-in fonts.

  160.  Ribbon cartridge:  Specify here, whether the printer shall support color 
  161.                     printing. This is not possible if the list box only offers 
  162.                     the setting Monochrome.

  164.  OK:                When you select the OK button you exit the dialog box. All 
  165.                     settings will be saved.

  167.  Cancel:            When you select the Cancel button you exit the dialog box.

  178. ESC/P2 printers are equipped with a special raster graphics mode. This mode 
  179. reduces the amount of data to be transferred and increases the print speed. 
  180. When printing in raster graphics mode the printer acts like a pure graphics 
  181. printer; in this mode the printer's built-in fonts are not available. 
  182.  
  183. If you want to use the printer's built-in fonts select one of the resolution 
  184. settings without (raster).

  189. The dialog box Settings allows you to load and save all printer driver 
  190. settings. Enter a name and click on the Load or Save button.

  192.  Name:        Enter a name for the printer driver configuration.

  194.  Delete:      When you click on this button the selected driver settings will 
  195.               be deleted. These settings can no longer be activated.

  197.  Load:        After you have selected the name, click on this button to load 
  198.               the settings and exit the dialog box.

  201.               save the settings and exit the dialog box.

  208. This dialog box offers additional possibilities for specifying the paper 
  209. format.

  211.  Format:          Use this function to select one of the predefined formats or 
  212.                   choose the last entry User-defined to define your own format.

  214.  Measuring unit:  Use this function to set the measuring unit valid for entries 
  215.                   and output.

  217.  Size:            This field displays the exact size. 
  218.  
  219.  Margins:         This field shows the margins set by the printer. The 
  220.                   printable area is the result of subtracting the margins from 
  221.                   the size.

  223.  OK:              When you click on the OK button you will exit the dialog box. 
  224.                   All settings will be saved.

  255. Enter the paper width which can be used for printing (the area between the 
  256. perforation), not the total width.

  258. A wrong page length will multiply with each page. For example, if the page 
  259. length differs only by 0.1 mm, the top of form offset after printing 100 pages 
  260. will be 10 mm.

  262. The distance between 2 holes of the perforation is 1/2 inch. 
  263.  
  264. Usually the page length of continuous paper is a multiple of 1/2 inch or 1/6 
  265. inch. In most cases, the measuring units Inch or 1/72 inch are suited best.

  270. Use this dialog box to adapt the driver settings to the printer's options.

  272.  Printer model:   The name of your printer model is displayed.

  275.                   printing. When printing on continuous paper (tractor unit) it 
  276.                   is not necessary to make any settings. This setting
