  8. Customers who are currently licensed to use the IBM Data Collection
  9. Control/2 (DCC/2) (5756-144), may upgrade to either the IBM Data
  10. Collection Connection (DCConnect) for OS/2 (R) or the DCConnect for
  11. Windows NT (TM) products at a reduced price.  This offer ends on
  12. January 30, 1998, at which time these upgrade features will be
  13. withdrawn from marketing.

  15. These DCConnect Development Toolkit and Server products are IBM's
  16. next generation of data collection enablers, providing an improved
  17. user interface, additional function, and a pricing structure, which
  18. accommodates smaller businesses and installations.

  24. This product is year 2000 ready.  When used in accordance with its
  25. associated documentation, it is capable of correctly processing,
  26. providing, and receiving date data within and between the twentieth
  27. and twenty-first centuries, provided all other products (for example,
  28. software, hardware, and firmware), used with the product properly
  29. exchange date data with it.

  53. The IBM Data Collection Connection (DCConnect) programs are available
  54. on an OS/2 (R) or Windows NT (TM) platform.  In addition, the
  55. DCConnect Server products are available in three levels of data
  56. collection terminal (DCT) support.

  58. To order, specify the type-model number, asset registration number
  59. 9001, the CD-ROM media feature 5809, and the desired one-time charge
  60. (OTC) feature number.

  94. Access to these products on the CD-ROM requires a decryption key.  A
  95. key is provided on the packing slip shipped with the CD-ROM, for each
  96. product ordered.  If any of these features is ordered after initially
  97. receiving the CD-ROM, only a decryption key and license information
  98. will be shipped.  Select feature number 3471 to suppress shipment of
  99. media.

  111. Select the appropriate feature numbers to customize your order to
  112. specify the delivery options desired.  These features can be
  113. specified on the initial or MES orders.
  114.  
  115. Example:  If publications are not desired for the initial order,
  116. specify feature number 3470 to ship media only.  For future updates,
  117. specify feature number 3480 to ship media updates only.  If, in the
  118. future, publication updates are required, order an MES to remove
  119. feature number 3480; then, the publications will ship with the next
  120. release of the program.
