  1.                                           SHUTDOWN [OS/2 ONLY]

  3.      NAME SHUTDOWN - Prepare the system for power down.
  4.      
  5.      SYNTAX
  6.      
  7.      shutdown [/Y | /N] | [/H | /?]
  8.      
  9.      USAGE
  10.      
  11.      Shutdown flushes  all buffer  to the disk and closes down
  12.      the file  system. After  this the  system can  be  safely
  13.      powered down or restarted with CONTROL-ALT-DEL. It can be
  14.      used if  you run  OS/2 without  Presentation Manager with
  15.      for example CMD.EXE as your only shell.
  16.      
  17.      Following options are recognized:
  18.           - /?,/H = Help. Displays a short help.
  19.           - /Y =  Yes. No confirmation is requested. System is
  20.           shutdown.
  21.           - /N =  No. No action is taken. Similar to answering
  22.           N to confirmation message.
