SHUTDOWN [OS/2 ONLY] NAME SHUTDOWN - Prepare the system for power down. SYNTAX shutdown [/Y | /N] | [/H | /?] USAGE Shutdown flushes all buffer to the disk and closes down the file system. After this the system can be safely powered down or restarted with CONTROL-ALT-DEL. It can be used if you run OS/2 without Presentation Manager with for example CMD.EXE as your only shell. Following options are recognized: - /?,/H = Help. Displays a short help. - /Y = Yes. No confirmation is requested. System is shutdown. - /N = No. No action is taken. Similar to answering N to confirmation message.
