ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. QV Print Information ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
QikView/2 unlike QikView, will now let you see more then one option before
closing, and with QikViewP will make a file and print information. About DMA,
IRQ, and I/O, CSD Level and more. The improvements are nice, and I hope you
find it useful.
The old version of QikView would close after pressing one button, the screen
would show the information but would close the program. This made it so you had
to re-start the QikView program to see another field of information. Now with
this version, you can click any button to add that information to the list,
then close the program down.
The QikViewP (printing window for QikView/2) gives you the option of just
seeing or printing. Please make a note here, and remember, when printing system
levels and CSD levels, make sure you have enough paper in your printer. On my
system it took from 15 to 35 sheets depending on what I was printing.
QikViewP is like QikView/2, in that it's really self explanatory. If you read
the buttons and text lines, you can run the program <smile>. The problem comes
in after you use it, in " what I'am I looking at? " when the program has given
you a list to read or look at.
With QikView/2 and QikViewP, you will have access to some helpful information.
With it and the help you have in OS/2 on DMA, IRQ, Memory, and HardWare
Manager, you should be able to solve some of those problems you run into from
time to time.
