  43.         Many times while working with text, html and bat files I felt
  44. the need for an easy to use text find and replace tool. Most windows
  45. and dos text editors contain search and replace commands, but these
  46. are very primitive in their search abilities. For example, if I wanted
  47. to add a particular text to the beginning of each line, I had to do it
  48. by hand, even while I knew that each previous line ended with a CR/LF
  49. pair. This inspired me to write a powerful text search and replace
  50. utility, which is in front of you.
  51.         This program was created in MSDOS-QBasic which was distributed
  52. with MS-DOS 6.22. Compiled using Microsoft QuickBASIC v4.5. I believe
  53. that this tool is powerful and complicated enough! So I don't think
  54. that I need to add any version information. This program is tested
  55. error free as far as I know. In case of unexpected results, please
  56. check the data input into the program via the file. (GIGO)
