ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 3. Getting Started ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Upon starting TIE it is we recommend you open the os2.ini by Clicking the
User pushbutton. Become familiar with the entries & ini file structure Prior
to Deleting or editing anything. Also to become familiar with the ini file
structure open the os2sys.ini file by Clicking the System pushbutton, Click on
the PM_Clovers_Colors (Or any of the _Colors Listings) this should allow you to
further explore the ini file structure.
The Clovers_Colors_Colors Matches the Clovers Color Scheme By opening the
Color Scheme you should be able to view the scheme settings and the Keys
section and correlate the values. The color Key values are in R G B format with
numeric values up to 255 for the default settings. If you examine the
DesktopBackgroundBitmap Key you should get a value something like
\os2\bitmap\pines.bmp. Many of the ini file entries are not so simple ...
ALWAYS BACKUP FILES BEFORE MAKING ANY CHANGES!
Select the backup file to copy the currently select file to a .ibf file. For
Example:
os2.ini would create a backup file of os2.ibf in the same directory as os2.ini.
