  14. FARMINGTON HILLS, MI - Compuware Corporation is now shipping
  15. a new release of its PREDITOR/2 code editor that extends the
  16. tool's outstanding customization capabilities and offers
  17. OS/2 programmers more ways to work faster.

  19. New to PREDITOR/2 Release 2.1 is a unique detached window
  20. mode that enables programmers to easily move toolbars and
  21. windows around their screen to make the most of their
  22. workspace while using a control panel to quickly access all
  23. open files. This release also adds color syntax highlighting
  24. to help programmers target and eliminate bad code
  25. expressions and keywords faster than before. Other
  26. enhancements to the release include additional hypertext
  27. browsing power for C and C++ programs, the capacity to edit
  28. text and data files without switching tools, and improved
  29. startup and scrolling speed.

  38. C-like extension language, emulates several other editors
  39. and handles an unlimited number of file sizes, open files
  40. and line lengths.

  43. PREDITOR/2 Release 2.1 is available at an introductory price
  44. of $149 from Compuware (800-535-8707) and Indelible Blue
