        NEW RELEASE OF PREDITOR/2 OFFERS PROGRAMMERS
              EVEN MORE FLEXIBILITY, EFFICIENCY
                              

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI - Compuware Corporation is now shipping
a new release of its PREDITOR/2 code editor that extends the
tool's outstanding customization capabilities and offers
OS/2 programmers more ways to work faster.

New to PREDITOR/2 Release 2.1 is a unique detached window
mode that enables programmers to easily move toolbars and
windows around their screen to make the most of their
workspace while using a control panel to quickly access all
open files. This release also adds color syntax highlighting
to help programmers target and eliminate bad code
expressions and keywords faster than before. Other
enhancements to the release include additional hypertext
browsing power for C and C++ programs, the capacity to edit
text and data files without switching tools, and improved
startup and scrolling speed.

programmers that ability. And the features we've added in

PREDITOR/2 provides extensive customization facilities and a
C-like extension language, emulates several other editors
and handles an unlimited number of file sizes, open files
and line lengths.

PREDITOR/2 Release 2.1 is available at an introductory price
of $149 from Compuware (800-535-8707) and Indelible Blue
