ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. Extended Help ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
Bookshelf is a small utility designed to help organize the .INF information
files used by OS/2 and the 'VIEW.EXE' program. With this utility you can
easily access all of your information files without creating starter
information for each one.
STARTING Bookshelf
Bookshelf will take two optional parameters on the command line. The
following syntax shows how to use these parameters:
BOOKS [title [path]]
title changes the default "Bookshelf" title in the title bar to the title
given. If spaces are used in the new title, then the parameter should be
surounded by double quotes.
path points to the location of the .INF files that are to be controlled.
Example
BOOKS "Programming References" d:\book\ref
RUNNING Bookshelf
Once bookshelf is started, a list of available .INF files will be displayed in
the main window. Double clicking on one of these book titles will allow you
to load and view the book.
Options Menu
From the 'Options' menu you can ...
1. Open a selected (highlighted) book for viewing.
2. Change the directory path pointing to the books.
3. Change the books properties (title).
4. Update the list of books (re-scan the directory).
5. Exit the book shelf program.
ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 2. Help for Keys ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ
The list of keys is arranged in groups.
