═══ 1. Extended Help ═══ Bookshelf is a small utility designed to help organize the .INF information files used by OS/2 and the 'VIEW.EXE' program. With this utility you can easily access all of your information files without creating starter information for each one. STARTING Bookshelf Bookshelf will take two optional parameters on the command line. The following syntax shows how to use these parameters: BOOKS [title [path]] title changes the default "Bookshelf" title in the title bar to the title given. If spaces are used in the new title, then the parameter should be surounded by double quotes. path points to the location of the .INF files that are to be controlled. Example BOOKS "Programming References" d:\book\ref RUNNING Bookshelf Once bookshelf is started, a list of available .INF files will be displayed in the main window. Double clicking on one of these book titles will allow you to load and view the book. Options Menu From the 'Options' menu you can ... 1. Open a selected (highlighted) book for viewing. 2. Change the directory path pointing to the books. 3. Change the books properties (title). 4. Update the list of books (re-scan the directory). 5. Exit the book shelf program. ═══ 2. Help for Keys ═══ The list of keys is arranged in groups. Use: o HELP KEYS to get help o SYSTEM KEYS to switch between programs o WINDOW KEYS to move around in a program window o POP-UP WINDOW KEYS to make a selection in a pop-up window o EDITING KEYS to make changes in a pop-up window. When two key names are joined by a plus sign (+), use these two keys together. Hold down the first key and press the second key.
