  13. Notify! is a non-intrusive way to notify end-users of incoming e-mail from a 
  14. Lotus Notes* server or cc:Mail* server. 
  15.  
  16. Settings Help:
  17.  
  18. o   Timer - Scroll to or enter in the number of minutes to wait before checking 
  19.     the mail server for new mail.
  20.  
  21. o   Enable Beep - Placing a check mark next to this option causes the Notify! 
  22.     application to play a little tune when New E-mail is found for the logged 
  23.     in user.
  24.  
  25. o   Enable Popup Window - Placing a check mark next to this option causes 
  26.     Notify! to pop up a small window populated with tany of the following options:
  27.  
  28.     1.  Name - The name of the user who sent the message.
  29.  
  30.     2.  Date - The date the message was sent.
  31.  
  32.     3.  Subject - The subject of the message.
  33.  
  34.     4.  Urgency - The urgency, or priority of the incoming message.
  35.  
  36. o   Save - saves the current configuration to the C:\OS2\NOTIFY.INI file.
  37.  
  38. o   Done - dismisses the Settings window.
  39.  
  40. o   Re-initialize - This will allow you to set up the user for whom the 
  41.     notification will be done.  You must type in the Post Office Directory, the 
  42.     User Name, and the password for the user in order to  run this application.

  44. Other Options:

  46. o   In order to terminate this application company wide, simply edit a text 
  47.     file by the name of STOP.NOT and place it in the directory from which the 
  48.     Notify.exe file was executed.  The next time the Notify! application checks 
  49.     the users e-mail, the Notify! Application will terminate on the workstation.
