  3.     DOWNSORT REGISTRATION AND SHAREWARE FEE

  5.     Downsort is a Shareware product with a modest fee of 15 US-dollars.

  7.     I hate restrictions in features (cripple-ware), and other tricks to
  8.     stimulate users to register, but I have strong suspicion that
  9.     registration is far below the actual use.  Therefore Downsort tries to
  10.     stimulate registration in a very modest way.  Downsort is uncrippled,
  11.     full featured, but I may eventually decide to quit further work on
  12.     Downsort if the registration response remains considerably below actual
  13.     use.

  15.     I would like to avoid the excessive fees relative to the Shareware
  16.     contribution that banks charge for international money transfers or
  17.     cheques to be made payable, and the services of credit card companies
  18.     are not free of charge too.  To keep the shareware contribution to a
  19.     reasonable minimum, I urge you to send a short "thank you for Downsort"
  20.     letter with carefully hidden 15 US-Dollars in banknotes (no cheques
  21.     please).  You will be obliged to perform this incredibly pleasant task
  22.     only once, and what is 15 dollars on a lifetime?  You may grasp the
  23.     chance to tell me your strictly private opinion about Downsort or to
  24.     report your requirements or remarks!

  33.     The equivalent of 15 US-Dollars in banknotes of another currency is
  34.     welcome too, but please only in a 'strong' currency (US-dollars,
  35.     Deutsche Marken, UK-pounds, Francs Françaises)!  For those of you with
  36.     a Dutch bank account it may be more convenient to pay the fee (25
  37.     Guilders) into the Postbank on my account 2087285.

  39.     Soon after your money has arrived you will receive a personal 'key'
  40.     which will change the signature of Downsort as proof that you are a
  41.     registered user.
