  12.          The Canadian UFO Research Network (CUFORN) is a nonprofit
  13.   organization incorporated in Ontario in December, 1977, with its
  14.   headquarters in Willodale, which is part of Toronto. Co-directors
  15.   Joe Muskat, Larry Fenwick and Harry Tokarz have amongst them more
  16.   than 70 years of UFO research.

  18.          CUFORN has newspaper clipping service access, photo,
  19.   magazine and report files, the use of polygraph and psychological
  20.   stress evaluation devices and other equipment for use in its
  21.   investigations. We try to provide technical and scientific
  22.   consultants for every phase of research and investigation. We have
  23.   a list of recommended books and magazines available at a cost of
  24.   only $1.00 . A one-year membership is yours for only $19.00 (Can.),
  25.   and is payable to CUFORN, Inc. by a cheque or money order.

  31.          We train and appoint field investigators, and have
  32.   available a series of comphrehensive Sighting Report Forms for use
  33.   by our members. Meetings are held only when something of major
  34.   significance is reported. We have affiliations with other groups
  35.   in Canada and around the world.

  37.          CUFORN's aims are: to receive reports, check to see if any
  38.   mundane causes explain the reported sighting; send out field
  39.   investigators on close encounter, landing and abduction reports;
  40.   have soil and plant analysis done; interview observers; draw
  41.   conclusions, if possible, in final reports on cases; send these to
  42.   other UFO groups; and adhere to our code of ethics, while
  43.   maintaining a healthy skepticism and adherence to the scientific
  44.   method.

  46.          All reputable UFO groups and independent researchers are
  47.   invited to join CUFORN or arrange affiliation. Members get the
  48.   latest news on investigations and other news in the form of the
  49.   CUFORN Bulletin every two months.

  51.          Write or phone us to get a membership form. When we approve
  52.   your application and receive your membership fee, we will send you
  53.   a membership card and put you on the Bulletin mailing list.
  54.   Sighting report forms will be sent to those who ask for them. All
  55.   completed forms must be sent to CUFORN headquarters immediately
  56.   after completion of an investigation.

  58.          Membership qualifications are as follows: A minimum of five
  59.   years of intensive UFO research including the reading of at least
  60.   five books on the subject, OR ONE of the following: A university
  61.   or college degree; experience or training in any one of these:
  62.   insurance investigator, media reporter, astronomy, aeronautics,
  63.   computer technology, electronics, photography, art, law
  64.   enforcement, or public relations.

  67.   Canadian funds.
