FoxPro to DBASE/CLIPPER database conversion
Documentation.
I had occasion to need to convert a FoxPro database to a
standard.dbf file and so Jamal Mazrui helped me understand the
proper use of the Clipper version 5.2B code to do it. I then
thought that it would be real nifty to just make the code into an
exe file where folks could just type in the names of the files
and let the program do the conversion. Hence "FP2DB.exe"!
the only thing you need to remember when using this program
is to be sure that you don't use the ".dbf" extensions when
entering the file names since they are defaulted in the program.
You can use a path and different drive to send your newly created
database to. This is further detailed in the program and so I
only mention it to let you know that you can get all the
databases converted you like into a favored directory.
That's it! It is free, no guarantees, but it worked for me
and should work for you!
