  7. SPIRIT2.WAD for DOOM2 is an update of SPIRIT.WAD with some modifications 
  8. and without additional graphic patches. 
  9. I only used the original DOOM2 graphics to make WAD-editing easier and to 
  10. keep the file as small as possible.
  11.  
  12. What's new in version 2 ?
  13.         - better node building
  14.         - no costum graphics in order to reduce file size and to make further
  15.           editing easier
  16.         - some rooms are a little bit larger
  17.         - a secret passage takes you from the exit room back to the beginning
  18.           so you can visit areas which you may have missed on the first run
  19.         - if you have messed up the blue ball trick, which involves a barrel
  20.           and a door, you can use the new passage to come back and pick up the
  21.           blue ball anyway
  22.  
  23. MAP1 was primarily designed for Single Player mode; size and complexity are 
  24. no good for Deathmatch.  
  25. Par time is 15 min for MAP01 on skill level 4.
  26.  
  27. There is also a second level which is rather an experimental one, something 
  28. to look at. You don't have to shoot anybody to finish this map.

  42. In the Blue Ball room of Map01 you have to move the barrel under the door so
  43. you can come back. Use ONE pistol shot or non-berserk fist.

  48. Spirit2 was designed for DOOM2 ver 1.666 but it should run with later 
  49. versions as well.
  50. Load this WAD with:   DOOM2 -file SPIRIT2.WAD -skill 4 -warp 01
  51.     or for example:   DOOM2 -file wad\new\SPIRIT2.WAD -warp 02
