  9. Please uninstall any previous version's of DialupMaster from your device 
  10. before proceeding. (Quit DialupMaster from the pop-up menu before removing).

  16. The much requested addition  -  PocketPC devices now supported!

  20. Full support for GERMAN language devices. Now German users can enjoy the benefits
  21. of Skip Connect Window, and scripting (no more need to fiddle with the advanced
  22. settings).

  24. New scripting support for hiding the terminal window, and prompting the user for
  25. a PIN number.

  27. Pre-dial scripting has been added for users that need to do special processing,
  28. such as sending a mobile phone a PIN code, or waiting for it to locate the network
  29. before dialing.

  32. FEATURES

  35. Connectivity is crucial with a WindowsCE device, and power mobile users require more
  36. functionality then the current set of features in Remote Networking. DialupMaster is a
  37. utility to fill the gap with the following features:
  38.  
  39. - Quick Connect 
  40.   A popup menu on the system icon tray lists your connections. You can choose to show
  41.   any or all of Modem, Direct and System entries. You can group common entries into sub-
  42.   menus. (eg: If you have an ISP that you connect to either via your Internal Modem, or
  43.   an external modem, or an IRDA GSM phone, you can group these together).

  45.     Enable "Skip Connect Window" and DialupMaster will dial as soon as you
  46.                select the phone entry from the pop-up menus!

  48. - Login Scripts (and Pre-dial Scripts)
  49.   Lacking from Remote Networking is login scripts. With DialupMaster you can now create
  50.   custom login scripts that run after your modem connects to your ISP. The login script also
  51.   reads your username, password and domain from your login dialog so you don't need to
  52.   write your password into the script file. Each connection can have a different script.
  53.   Pre-dial scripts enable custom initialization to be configured. Support for entering a 
  54.   PIN code is provided.

  57. - Keep-Alive
  58.   Some ISP's have an in-activity timeout, which disconnects you. Typically desktop PC's
  59.   have a keep-alive PING program which sends a PING message at regular intervals to
  60.   stop being disconnected. DialupMaster allows you to enable PING messages to a 
  61.   user definable host at any period of minutes you set.

  63. - Online Timer
  64.   Connecting over cellular phone and worried about the phone bill? How long have you
  65.   been connected for? DialupMaster can display an online timer in the system icon tray
  66.   counting the minutes you've been online for.

  68. - Shortcut to Remote Networking
  69.   DialupMaster has a shortcut menu to quickly open up Remote Networking (Connections
  70.   under PSPC).

  72. - Integration into OS
  73.   DialupMaster integrates tightly with the OS. You do NOT need to dial the modem using
  74.   a DialupMaster menu to use any of the features. If you prefer to use Remote Networking,
  75.   or you use a 3rd party product which lauches a connection for you, DialupMaster will
  76.   automatically be notified of the connection and still run your DialupMaster login script,
  77.   show timers, send keep-alive messages!

  80.   Shareware includes a trial period of 15 days, and single user registration costs US$14.95.

  99.  
  100.      Having problems with the installer? You can manually install
  101.      the CAB files following these steps:
  102.  
  103.      1. Create a DialupMaster directory under your CE Services folder
  104.  
  105.      2. Copy the files from the ZIP archive into it:
  106.  
  107.         DialupMaster.mips.cab
  108.         DialupMaster.sh3.cab
  109.         DialupMaster.sh4.cab
  110.         DialupMaster.arm.cab
  111.         DialupMasterAppMgr.ini
  112.         readme.txt
  113.  
  114.      3. Open up a DOS shell, and change to that directory
  115.  
  116.      4. Run the CEAppMgr with the DialupMasterAppMgr.ini file as a paramater 
  117.  
  118.         NOTE: Both CEAppMgr and the INI file _MUST_ include the full path
  119.  
  120.         eg: c:\program files\Windows CE Services\CEAppMgr.exe 
  121.              c:\program files\Windows CE Services\DialupMaster\DialupMasterAppMgr.ini
  122.  
  123.      5. The CEAppMgr should now startup and install TapRight on to your
  124.         device.
