  7. This is a demonstration of Caller Display from Octopus Systems. The full
  8. version is supplied with a small Caller ID unit which plugs into
  9. the telephone socket and the computer's serial port.
  10.

  12. Running the Demo
  13. ----------------
  14. If you have RISC OS 3.60 or earlier you should update your !System
  15. directory, as follows:
  16.       
  17.    * If you have a Risc PC or A7000 with RISC OS 3.50 or 3.60:
  18.             
  19.      Double-click on !Boot (on your hard disc) and then click on System.
  20.      Drag !System from the floppy window to the System window as 
  21.      instructed.
  22.             
  23.    * If you have an older computer with RISC OS 3.00 or 3.10:
  24.             
  25.      Press MENU over a filer window and ensure Options->Newer is ticked.
  26.      Drag !System from the floppy disc to the directory containing !System 
  27.      on your hard disc.
  28.             
  29. Double-click on !CallerID to run the demo.

  31. Use Acorn's interactive Help program for a full description of each button
  32. and menu item.

  34. Note that you can use this demonstration as a useful utility for storing
  35. your personal telephone directory, for dialling numbers and for looking up
  36. area codes and locations on the UK map. Use Acorn's interactive Help
  37. program for a full description of  the buttons and menus in the CallerID
  38. program.

  48.   Atomwide single/triple serial port               £93/£117

  50. The Atomwide serial port card is only needed if you  have an A300 or A400,
  51. or if your serial port is already  in use.  Speak or Speech software is
  52. needed to speak  the callers’s name.  All prices include the Caller 
  53. Display unit, software, manual, telephone splitter and VAT, but please
  54. add £4.70 P&P.
