  5. Installation and Setup
  6. ────────────────────────────────────────
  7. Fun 'N Games runs directly from your CD-ROM drive.
  8.  
  9. Information about your configuration will be saved on your hard drive in
  10. the C:\FUNGAMES.CD directory.  The manual states that you can disable the
  11. save directory.  That is incorrect.  The save directory will always be
  12. created when you first run Fun 'N Games.

  14. To play Fun 'N Games, first change to your CD-ROM drive.  Then type 'fun'
  15. and press the Enter key.

  17. If this is the first time you have run Fun 'N Games, the setup menu will
  18. appear.  Use the arrow keys and the Enter key to navigate through the menus.

  20. Your current selections are listed in the blue Configuration Summary
  21. window on the right side of the screen.  Be sure to carefully check your
  22. sound and music options.

  24. To change your configuration later, run 'setup' from your CD-ROM drive.

  26. Refer to the Fun 'N Games manual for more information on the setup program.

  29. Memory
  30. ────────────────────────────────────────
  31. Fun 'N Games uses a DOS extender which merges all available memory into
  32. one region to maximize performance.  You need to have 3 Meg of available
  33. EMS or XMS memory to play Fun 'N Games.  A computer with a total of 8 Meg
  34. should easily be able to be configured to leave 3 Meg free.  A system with
  35. a total of 4 Meg would need most drivers, disk caches, and TSR that use
  36. EMS or XMS memory to be unloaded.

  39. DOS manual.

  44. Fun 'N Games requires an SuperVGA video card with a minimum of 512K RAM.
