  7. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

  9.   486/66 Mhz. or better
  10.   Windows 3.1/Windows 95 or higher

  12.   SoundBlaster 16 or 100% SoundBlaster-compatible sound card
  13.   2x CD-ROM or faster

  19. GETTING STARTED:
  20.  
  21. Windows 95 Installation:
  22.  
  23. 1.  Place the Let's Talk About ME! Too CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  24. 2.  Double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
  25.     Double-click the CD-ROM icon titled About_ME2.
  26. 3.  Double-click the SETUP.EXE icon and follow the on-screen
  27.     prompts.
  28. 4.  If you have installed Let's Talk About ME!, the installation 
  29.     will find the correct directory and install Let's Talk About 
  30.     ME! Too in the same place.
  31. 5.  At the end of the installation, you will have the option to
  32.     register your product by modem.  If you have a modem and wish 
  33.     to register your copy of Let's Talk About ME! Too, click the 
  34.     Yes button.  Follow the on-screen prompts.
  35. 6.  If you do not wish to register at this time, you can always
  36.     do it later by clicking th eElectronic Registration icon in  
  37.     the Let's Talk About ME program group.
  38. 7.  To run Let's Talk About ME! Too, make sure you have the CD
  39.     in the CD-ROM drive.  Click the Start button and select 
  40.     Programs then Let's Talk About ME! Too.  Click the Let's 
  41.     Talk About ME! Too icon to start the program.

  43. Windows 3.x Installation:
  44.  
  45. 1.  Place the Let's Talk About ME! Too CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  46. 2.  From the File menu, select Run.  Click the Browse button
  47.     and select your CD-ROM drive.  Double-click on SETUP.EXE. 
  48.     Click OK.
  49. 3.  Follow the on-screen prompts to install the program.
  50. 4.  If you have installed Let's Talk About ME!, the installation
  51.     will find the correct directory and install Let's Talk About 
  52.     ME! Too in the same place.
  53. 5.  At the end of the installation, you will have the option to
  54.     register your product by modem.  If you have a modem, and 
  55.     wish to register your copy of Let's Talk About ME! Too, 
  56.     click the Yes button. Follow the on-screen prompts.
  57. 6.  If you do not wish to register at this time, you can always
  58.     do it later by clicking the Electronic Registration icon 
  59.     in the Let's Talk About ME program group.
  60. 7.  To run Let's Talk About ME! Too, make sure you have the CD
  61.     in the CD-ROM drive.  Double-click the program group titled 
  62.     "Let's Talk About ME."  Click the Let's Talk About ME! Too 
  63.     icon to start the program.

  68. TROUBLESHOOTING:

  70. To add your pictures to the Diary:
  71.  
  72. You can add your own pictures into the Diary. Just follow the 
  73. steps below:
  74.  
  75. 1. Create a new picture that is 100x100 pixels in size.
  76. 2. Save your picture as a PICT (or BMP) file and name it 
  77.          Lxxxxxx.PCT (or .BMP)
  78.    Your filename has to start with an "L"!
  79. 3. Resize your picture to be 50x50 pixels in size.
  80. 4. Save your picture as a PICT (or BMP) file and name it 
  81.          Txxxxxx.PCT (or .BMP)
  82.    Your filename has to start with a "T" and the rest of 
  83.    the name has to be exactly the same as the Lxxxxxx.PCT 
  84.    name. For example:
  85.          Lmydog.pct
  86.          Tmydog.pct
  87. 5. Copy both of these files into your PICS directory. To 
  88.    find the PICS folder on your hard drive, open the folder 
  89.    called "Let's Talk About Me". There will be a folder with 
  90.    your name on it. Open this folder. Then open the folder 
  91.    called PICS. Copy both your files into this directory.
  92. 6. Go into the Diary and select My Pictures to see all your 
  93.    pictures you can add to your diary!
  94.  
  95. Notes About Custom Pictures in the Diary: 
  96.  
  97. 1. Your display must be running 256 colors to access your 
  98.    pictures in the Diary. 
  99.  
  100. 2. If you save Diary pages with your custom pictures, do 
  101.    not delete your custom pictures from your PICS folder.
  102.  
  103.  
  104. I can't get into the Salon-a-tron:
  105.  
  106. 1.  If you are running Windows in higher than 256 colors, you 
  107.     cannot use the Salon-a-tron. Quit Let's Talk About ME! Too 
  108.     and change your color settings in Windows. Refer to your 
  109.     Windows manual for instructions on changing your color depth.

  113. My pictures don't show up in the Salon-a-tron list:
  114.  
  115. 1.  Make sure you put your pictures into the right folder.  
  116.     Using Explorer or File Manager, locate the folder on your 
  117.     hard drive where Let's Talk About ME! Too is installed. 
  118.     Open that folder. There should be a folder with your 
  119.     log-in name. Open that folder. Open the Hairstuf folder, 
  120.     then the toTrim folder. Copy your files into the toTrim 
  121.     folder. These files will only be available when you use 
  122.     this login name.
  123.  
  124. 2.  Your files need to be in PICT format with the .PCT file 
  125.     extension or Bitmap format with the .BMP file extension. 
  126.     (Example: ME.PCT) If they are in some other format you 
  127.     will need a graphics program to change them to PICT or BMP.
  128.  
  129. 3.  If your pictures are larger than 500K in size they will not 
  130.     appear in the Salon-a-tron list. Edit your pictures using 
  131.     any popular graphics program to reduce the size. If you make 
  132.     your picture smaller, decrease the resolution or decrease 
  133.     the color depth, the file size will generaly decrease as well.

  138. UNINSTALL:

  140. Windows 95:

  142. 1.  Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive.  
  143. 2.  Go to Start menu and select Programs. Then select the 
  144.     Let's Talk About ME! Too Program Group.  
  145. 3.  Choose "Uninstall-insert CD" and follow the on-screen prompts.
  146. 4.  If you have any saved files from the Diary or Hairmaster 
  147.     Deluxe, they will not be deleted.  You must manually delete 
  148.     these files.
  149.  
  150. Windows 3.x:
  151.  
  152. 1.  Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive.

  154.     Too Program Group.
