  3.        CyberGraphX Version 3 Retargetable Graphics System 
  4.               for ELBOX's Mediator PCI Busboard

  8.   This archive includes a generic driver what should work with most 
  9.   PCI cards based on the S3 ViRGE 86C325 and ViRGE/DX 82C375. The 
  10.   drivers should function with most cards as most have used a
  11.   reference design standard set by S3 for ViRGE.

  15.   CGX Team is keeping a complete list of makes and models
  16.   of ViRGE (86C325) and ViRGE/DX (82C375) cards that 
  17.   work with the CGX driver. If you find a card that is not on 
  18.   http://www.vgr.com/mediator and you can send us the cards 
  19.   information and maybe a nice picture we will create a custom 
  20.   named V3 driver for you. Please email us at virge@vgr.com

  26.   CGX V4, an expanded and current upgrade to CGX V3, can be bought 
  27.   from one of the many fine Amiga Dealers near you or
  28.   Stefan Ossowski's Schatztruhe Gesellschaft für Software mbH
  29.   (http://www.schatztruhe.de/softe/cgx4.html). V4 includes Hardware 
  30.   Blitter support along with many other things. Please see 
  31.   http://www.vgr.com/v4/ for an overview. Please note that
  32.   you can't get the 'upgrade' price for V4. The V3 driver are supplied 
  33.   free to you and Elbox.

  36.   Note: If you are using Release 1 or 2 of the ViRGE drivers,
  37.         you must remove the ElboxGenericViRGE driver from
  38.         devs:Monitor, then reinstall. The driver name has 
  39.         changed to MediatorViRGE.

  42. INSTALLERS:
  43. -----------
  44.  Two installers are included with the CGX Elbox archive. You should 
  45.  use the latest installer binary version 43.3. You can find this 
  46.  installer updated by Escom/AMIGA Technologies on Aminet,
  47.  Installer-43_3.lha
  48.  
  49.  CGXV3_install
  50.  ----------------------------------------------------------------
  51.   This will install CGX for the first time on a system. It
  52.   will copy the correct libraries and files to the correct
  53.   places. It also sets the tooltypes and environment variables
  54.   required.
  55.   You will need to know the MAX KHz for your monitor to set
  56.   this correctly.

  58.  CGXV3_Update
  59.  ----------------------------------------------------------------
  60.   This will update your CGX V3 system to the current libraries
  61.   and monitor files in the archive.
