  8. Who Should Read This Tech Note?
  9. Network Archivist NLM users who are experiencing problems when
  10. concurrently using the Keyboard Lock feature in the current
  11. version of MONITOR.NLM (shipped with NetWare v3.11) with a
  12. Network Archivist NLM unattended backup session.
  13.  
  14. Symptom
  15. When executing an unattended backup (TNA2TAPE) operation with the
  16. MONITOR keyboard lock activated, the backup will start without
  17. problems, but the keyboard will unlock and the MONITOR display
  18. will no be longer accessible.  MONITOR is actually still loaded
  19. and will appear in system module information, but it cannot be
  20. utilized while in this state.  MONITOR must first be unloaded,
  21. then reloaded to rectify the situation.Cause
  22.  
  23. This is caused by a bug in versions of MONITOR.NLM dated earlier
  24. than 10/26/92.

  26. Solution
  27. Download a new, corrected version of MONITOR.NLM from Compuserve
  28. NOVLIB4 or the Palindrome BBS (708-505-3336).
