  9.     Here's a few pointers to enable you to get the most out of PAMS.

  35. The following are just a few ideas for getting the most out of PAMS.

  38.               Due to the way STD area codes are set up in this country
  39. you will get some strange outputs when using PAMS.
  40.  
  41.     For instance Entering <07> for Brisbane area will result in ALL the
  42. entries for Queensland being presented.The way to overcome this is to
  43. enter <07 SPACE>. This will produce ONLY AREA codes of 07 and not 075 etc.

  45.     Using 07 will also report on numbers containing 07 e.g. 123-0789
  46. This can't be helped (YET).
  47.  
  48.     It is not essential to input AREA codes. You may also submit PART of a
  49. telephone number,part or all of a BBS name or even a modem speed.
  50.     Say you've just bought a TRAILBLAZER (luck you I cry) and you'de like
  51. to know who you can call to try it out. Just type PEP at the prompt and
  52. you will be presented with a summary of all BBS's running PEP style protocol.

  58. Yoy may if you wish add your own personal telephone directory/address list
  59. at the end of the source code and re-assemble.Just be sure to follow the
  60. proper syntax to get a neat screen dump.Explanations are in the source.
