CONCURRENT PC-DOS V3.2 SOFTWARE PERFORMANCE REPORT SUMMARY
KNOWN PROBLEMS IN CONCURRENT PC-DOS V3.2
CONCURRENT PC-DOS IS A TRADEMARK OF DIGITAL RESEARCH, INC.
UTILITY # SYMPTOM\PROBLEM DESCRIPTION
CARDFILE.CMD 1 CARDFILE aborts when available disk space is
exceeded.
2 No error message is displayed when the card-
file display file, "CARDFILE.DIS" is missing
from the default drive.
3 When an index file (ie NAME.IDX) gets
corrupted, CARDFILE displays "NAME.IDX NOT
FOUND ON DISK", even though it is still
there.
DIR.CMD 1 Does not always detect floppy disk swap, and
might display the wrong information.
INITDIR.CMD 1 If no drivespec is included in the command
line, INITDIR incorrectly responds: "ERROR:
unrecognized drive ENTER DRIVE: "
PIP.CMD 1 Unambiguous copy is not checked for the
archive bit, and it does not confirm.
PRINTMGR 1 PRINTMGR hangs up or crashes system if
options exceed a certain length.
SDIR.CMD 1 Will not accept a filename with leading
numerics, such as 12PITCH.CMD.
2 SDIR counts one too many directory entries on
DOS media.
3 Does not always detect floppy disk swap, and
might display the wrong information.
TMP 1 When either the "Printer Busy" or "Open files
on drive..." messages are displayed, the
prompt is not reprinted. Instead, the cursor
waits on the empty line following the
message. Press RETURN to restore the cursor.
