  4. If your program is not running properly, please refer to the following:

  6. About DirectX
  7. =============

  9. This program requires MicrosoftÆs DirectX drivers. Windows 98, Windows ME, 
  10. Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP machines ship with DirectX supplied. 
  11. However, these drivers are improved from time to time by Microsoft.
  12.  
  13. As a result, you may be required to run the DirectX Setup. This program, 
  14. which is provided by Microsoft and redistributed with their permission, 
  15. checks system drivers and only alters those that the DirectX Setup detects 
  16. require change. It is possible that the drivers provided with your machine 
  17. or with your copy of Windows may have been changed since your machine was 
  18. manufactured.

  20. If you experience program errors and have NOT run the DirectX setup, please do so
  21.  
  22. by following the instructions below: 
  23.  
  24. 1.  Place the CD into your CD-ROM drive.
  25.  
  26. 2.  In the Windows Startup screen, click "Start", then click on Run. 
  27.  
  28. 3.  Type in     D:\dx90_redist.exe     and press Enter.  (If your CD-ROM drive 
  29.     is not D, then change it to the letter associated with your CD-ROM drive.)

  31. 4.  Follow any instructions that appear on the screen.

  39. To View or Print the Manual you must first install Adobe Acrobat Reader by 
  40. following the instructions below:

  44. STEP 1.  Place the CD into your CD-ROM drive.

  46. STEP 2.  In the start-up screen, click on START, then click on RUN.

  48. STEP 3.  Type in     D:\AdbeRdr60_enu_full.exe     and press Enter. (If your 
  49.          CD-ROM drive is not D, then change it to the letter associated with 
  50.          your CD-ROM drive.)
