Help on the items in the EXAMINE menu.
* Examine Card
* Examine Deck
* Overview
EXAMINE CARD: This command toggles
the program in and out of interpret
mode. When in interpret mode an "I"
will appear on the deck. In interpret
mode, instead of moving the cards,
clicking on them will bring up the
interpretation for the chosen card.
In a spread, right clicking on the
cards will bring up positional
interpretations (See SPREAD help for
more on spreads). Clicking on the deck
will bring up the Overview and right
clicking on it in a spread will bring
up information on that spread. You can
also go in and out of interpret mode
by clicking the right and left mouse
buttons at the same time or by
clicking on the deck in a spread once
all the cards have been dealt.
EXAMINE DECK: This command allows you
to scroll thru the deck in order from
left to right. To scroll one card at a
time click on the single arrows and to
scroll a row at a time choose the
double arrows. You can go to the start
of any suit by clicking on its name.
Click on any of the cards to bring
up its interpretation.
OVERVIEW: Choosing this will bring up
a box telling you how many cards are
laid out and if they are face up or
face down. Of the face up cards it
will tell you how many of each suit
and how many of each ranking (ace,six,
Queen etc.) has been laid out. Click
on any of the boxes to see what that
type of card means in a layout. For
example if there are a majority of
Trumps you would click on TRUMPS to
see what that means or if there are
three Fives you would click on FIVES
to see if that had any special
significance. You can get an Overview
by choosing it from this menu or by
clicking on the deck while in
interpret mode.
