  1. Help on the items in the DECK menu.
  2.  
  3. * Shuffle
  4. * Cut
  5. * Face Up/Down
  6. * Deal Top/Right/Left
  7. * Fresh
  8.  
  9.  SHUFFLE: When you chooose this the
  10. deck will be riffled three times.
  11. If you are starting with a fresh deck
  12. you may want to shuffle it several
  13. times to mix the cards up good. If
  14. cards are laid out they will be 
  15. gathered up into the deck before the 
  16. shuffle. The order of the deck is
  17. maintained between sessions. When
  18. a layout file is opened the deck
  19. order changes to the way it was
  20. when the file was saved.

  22.  CUT: This command will cut the deck
  23. once in the approximate center,
  24. placing the bottom half on top. Like
  25. the shuffle, laid cards will be
  26. gathered up.

  28.  FACE UP/DOWN: This command toggles
  29. between having the cards dealt face up
  30. or face down. Cards already laid can
  31. be turned over. Just left-click on
  32. them with the toggle set to face down,
  33. or vice versa if they are face down
  34. and you want to turn them up. You can
  35. use the middle mouse button, if you
  36. have one, to set this toggle. You can
  37. check the status of the toggle by
  38. seeing if UP or DN appears beside the
  39. word FACE in the menu. You can set
  40. either up or down as the default
  41. setting by choosing SAVE in the
  42. OPTIONS sub-menu when you have it set
  43. the way you want it.

  46.  DEAL TOP/RIGHT/LEFT: This is a three
  47. way toggle between having the cards
  48. dealt on top of the deck, to the right
  49. of the deck or to the left of the
  50. deck. When the cards are dealt to the
  51. top it is easy to deal and then move
  52. the card with one click and drag
  53. motion. Dealing to one side or another
  54. is a easy way of dealing a lot of
  55. cards into a pile. Just look at the
  56. word appearing beside DEAL to see the
  57. status of this toggle. Like the face
  58. up/down toggle the default setting can
  59. be set under SAVE in the OPTIONS
  60. submenu.

  62.  FRESH: Choose this to start with a 
  63. fresh unshuffled deck. When you quit 
  64. the program the order of the deck, as 
  65. well as the placement of it and any 
  66. dealt cards, is saved in a file called
  67. "DECK.CFG". This file is automatically
  68. loaded each time you start the
  69. program. This simulates the way most
  70. people use a deck of cards; I don't
  71. know about you but I don't reorder the
  72. deck after each session. If you do
  73. want to start fresh every time tho you
  74. can delete the file "DECK.CFG" before
  75. you start or choose this command once
  76. you are in the program.
