  2. IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY BEFORE OPENING/INSTALLING
  3. SOFTWARE PACKET(S) AND/0R USING THE SOFTWARE.   By
  4. opening the sealed package containing the software
  5. and/or using the software, you indicate your
  6. acceptance of the following Software License
  7. Agreement.

  9. SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

  11. This software license agreement including the
  12. Warranty is a legal agreement between you (either an
  13. individual or an entity) and CompInt which developed
  14. the software. By opening the sealed package
  15. containing the software and/or using the software,
  16. you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of the
  17. agreement.  If you do not agree to the terms of this
  18. agreement, promptly return the unopened software
  19. package(s) and the accompanying items (including any
  20. CompInt hardware, written materials, and binders or
  21. other containers) to the place you obtained them for
  22. a full refund.
  23.  
  24. This license permits you to do the following:
  25. (a)     Use the program on a single machine.
  26. (b)     Copy the program into any machine-readable
  27.         form for back-up purposes.
  28. (c)    Transfer the program and this license to
  29.         another person, if the person agrees to
  30.         accept the terms and conditions of this
  31.         license. If you transfer the program you
  32.         must at the same time transfer to the same
  33.         person all back-up copies of the program you
  34.         have made, or else destroy them.
  35.  
  36. You must include the Vendor's copyright notice on
  37. all copies and modifications. YOU MAY NOT USE, COPY,
  38. MODIFY OR TRANSFER THE PROGRAM IN WHOLE OR IN PART,
  39. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS LICENSE.  IF
  40. YOU TRANSFER POSSESSION OF ANY COPY YOUR LICENSE IS
  41. AUTOMATICALLY TERMINATED.

  43. TERM
  44.  
  45. This license is effective until terminated.  You may
  46. terminate it at any time by destroying the program,
  47. together with all copies and modifications of the
  48. whole or any part of the program.  This license may
  49. also be terminated if you fail to comply with any
  50. term or condition of this license agreement. Upon
  51. such termination, you agree to destroy all copies
  52. and modifications of the whole or any part of the
  53. program.

  55. LIMITED WARRANTY
  56.  
  57. THIS PROGRAM IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF
  58. ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING,
  59. BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
  60. MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
  61. PURPOSE.

  63. In some places, under certain circumstances, the
  64. law may not allow the exclusion of implied
  65. warranties, so the above exclusion may not apply
  66. to you.  In such a case, the Vendor does not
  67. warrant that this program will meet your needs, or
  68. that the operation of the program will be error
  69. free. In all cases, the Vendor does warrant the
  70. medium on which the program is furnished to be
  71. free from defects in workmanship and materials
  72. under normal use for a period of ninety (90) days
  73. from the date of delivery to you as evidenced by
  74. a copy of your receipt.

  77. LIMITATIONS OF REMEDIES
  78.  
  79. The Vendor's entire liability and your exclusive
  80. remedy shall be the replacement of any medium not
  81. meeting the limited warranty given above, provided
  82. the defective medium is returned to the Vendor or
  83. an authorized dealer together with a copy of your
  84. receipt.  If the Vendor is not able to deliver a
  85. satisfactory replacement, you may return the
  86. complete package for a full refund.

  88. IN NO EVENT WILL THE VENDOR BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR
  89. ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST
  90. SAVINGS OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
  91. DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO
  92. USE THE PROGRAM, OR  FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD
  93. PARTY.

  95. In some places under certain circumstances the
  96. law does not allow such exclusion of liability,
  97. so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

  99. VENDOR'S RIGHTS
  100.  
  101. Copyright in the program and other materials
  102. supplied to you as part of this package belong
  103. to the Vendor.  Further, you expressly agree
  104. that the program contains information
  105. confidential to the Vendor.  You agree to take
  106. all reasonable steps to protect the Vendor's
  107. copyrights and confidential information,
  108. including, but not limited to, placing the
  109. Vendor's copyright and confidential information
  110. notice on all copies or modifications of the
  111. program which you make.  You also agree that you
  112. will not recompile the object code provided to
  113. you, or use any other technique to produce a
  114. source-code version of this program.

  116. GENERAL
  117.  
  118. You may not sublicense, transfer or assign this
  119. license agreement except as expressly provided
  120. above.

  130. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND
  131. THIS AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS
  132. AND CONDITIONS.  YOU FURTHER AGREE THAT IT IS THE
  133. COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT OF THE AGREEMENT
  134. BETWEEN US WHICH SUPERSEDES ANY PROPOSAL OR PRIOR
  135. AGREEMENT, ORAL OR WRITTEN, AND ANY OTHER
  136. COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN US RELATING TO THE
  137. SUBJECT-MATTER OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT.
