  16. 1. SHORT HISTORY
  17. ABOUT CURVEPLOTS (3D PLOTTER) :
  18.     I Go to School full time and dabbled in software development, and
  19.     I'm not always there for my sister.  CurvePlots was first made
  20.     with the idea of helping my sister visualize mathematical function
  21.     much easier.  Most people have problems picturing 3D functions in
  22.     their head.  Even with a piece of graph paper and pencil on hand
  23.     it would nearly be impossible to plot Multiple complex 3D graphs
  24.     accurately.  With a Tool like CurvePlots, understanding how a curve
  25.     act in relation to different points in a plane is quick and easy.
  26.     Features Like tracing coordinates, merging multiple graphs, and
  27.     color-coding graphs to represent quadrants are a few of the tools
  28.     available in CurvePlots that you can look forward to. With the
  29.     added bonus of a power calculator that performs multiple calc-
  30.     ulations, CurvePlots will make learning math more efficiently.

  33. 2. VERSION HISTORY
  34. Version 1.01:
  35.     First public release.
  36.     Fast graphing, and Calculator.

  38. Version 1.01b:
  39.     a. Help menu is fixed.
  40.     b. Executable size is smaller.(No speed reduction)

  42. Version 1.02: (exclusive release)
  43.     a. Windows now resize correctly and appear better when executed in
  44.        different screen resolution. Added menu feature to reset form
  45.        size and position to its respected placement.
  46.     b. Added help index menu item.
  47.     c. Registration file works with 16-bit and 32-bit version.
  48.     d. Fixed Color changing for calculating box.

  50. Version 2.00 (new and current):
  51.     a. Windows positions and size have the options to be saved.
  52.     b. Rebuild appearance for different resolution.
  53.     c. Graph Viewer and Control panel are now on the same window.
  54.     d. Separation of rotation buttons and switching of axis of
  55.        rotation buttons for easier control.
  56.     e. printing has a preview box and are now printing with data.
  57.     f. Since the merging of graph viewer and control panel, Main
  58.        window has the option to stay on top of all windows.
  59.     g. Calculation box now keeps a log of all answers for the
  60.        current session: Log information may be delete with few
  61.        clicks of the mouse.
  62.     h. More color options have been added for visual pleasure of
  63.        graph and calculator boxes. The ability of color schemes has
  64.        been added for quick color changing.
  65.     i. Color changer are separated for calculator box and 3D box.
  66.     j. Graphs colors have been decrease to 16 colors to save space.
  67.     k. When graphs are processing, you can still use the calculator or
  68.        do other task without having to wait for a long time. Curveplots
  69.        is more efficient in the use of cpu time.
  70.     l. Memory is more efficiently used for different amount of details.
  71.        Limit of segments has been increase to one thousand.
  72.     m. The addition Formula variables. Calculator and graphs are more
  73.        linked in data.
  74.        Families of Formula variables example:
  75.         f1, f1.x, f1.y, f1.z,
  76.         f1.x.y, f1.x.z, f1.y.x, f1.y.z, f1.z.x, f1.z.y
  77.         f2, ... and so on to f6...
  78.     n. The addition of Families integrals and Derivative functions, and
  79.        other functions and operators. see help file for list of all
  80.        functions and operators.
  81.     o. fix up 'ans' variable to change for every line of calculation.

  85.     a. Grid lines in graphs.
  86.     b. A True 2D graph with all necessary tools instead of having
  87.        to set rotation to 0 or 90 degrees on 3D graph.
  88.     c. Better printing tools.

  90.     e. Other methods of graphing: Polar, vectors, and more.
  91.     f. Faster rotations.
  92.     g. And some suggestion from you.

  97. 4. INSTALLATION
  98.     a. Unzip CrPlt20.zip to an empty Folder
  99.     b. Read Readme File(This file) for up to date information
  100.     c. YOU MUST AGREE TO THE LICENSE(License.txt) AGREEMENT TO
  101.        USE THIS PRODUCT
  102.     d. Run the Setup Program and follow Directions.
  103.     e. You may delete the setup files when done.
  104.     f. Icons should be created for you in the start menu.
  105.        (default group is under the CurvePlots folder);
  106.        click it and run the program.

  109. 5. UNINSTALLING
  110.     a. Click Start Menu/Settings/Control Panel
  111.     b. Double Click Add/Remove Programs Icon
  112.     c. Choose CurvePlots and click Add/Remove button.
  113.     d. Registered user may have Additional files in your setup folder.
  114.        Restart and remove folder.

  117. 6. KNOWN PROBLEMS
  118.     (NONE) : All bugs are fixed.

  122. 7. MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

  124.     CURVEPLOTS IS SHAREWARE:
  125.     Difference Between Registered and Unregistered Versions:
  126.       Both Version Are Fully Functional and are the Same Speed.
  127.       Unregistered Version reset to default every time you start.
  128.       The Registered Version Automatically recall the programs last
  129.       state; more color schemes, function list and more detailed
  130.       information in help file. Register users also have their
  131.       personal information decorates on the Splash Screen and About
  132.       Box. Registered Users are entitled to free Updates to CurvePlots
  133.       and Discounts to new software. (Registering provide an incentive
  134.       to further produce quality programs; Due to Current Funds,
  135.       Updates are made through E-mail only)

  137.     About FuncLst.txt:
  138.       This contain Some Sample Functions you can test out.
  139.       This file is automatically loaded at startup for register
  140.       users Unregistered user can cut and paste functions into
  141.       the program.
