Notes on Poker Square version 1.6 January 1992
(C) SPETER Software, 1989-1992.
PokerSq is a poker-like game, with two players playing 10 hands of poker
at once, each player on a 5 x 5 board.
** For details refer to pokersq.doc
Changes since version 1.3
-------------------------
* Restricted mouse to a player's own board.
This makes it easier to see whose turn it is, since the mouse can only
move within that players 5x5 board.
* Added underscores in name entry.
Player's names are limited to 15 characters, the underscores make it
easier to see how long the name is.
* Added session top-10.
After playing the game for a while it becomes difficult to get into
the top-10 list. The game now, not only displays the normal top-10
list, it displays a separate list for the current game session!
* Added yes/no to ESC-abort.
ESC is used to abort the game. Previously if ESC was pressed the game
imediately halted; now an "are you sure?" type prompt is displayed.
* Added backspace-undo.
The undo function can remove a card that has just been placed (in the
wrong position). Press the backspace key or the right mouse button.
* Mouse input improved.
Before the mouse cursor is displayed, the program now waits until both
mouse buttons have been released.
