  21.         The purpose of this program is to allow a much more convenient
  22.         method to  find differences and make changes for the data files
  23.         created by the Personal Ancestral File program (PAF).  It  was
  24.         developed to help recognize, reconcile and communicate differences
  25.         within a family where several individuals were actively working on
  26.         the family history. This program allows the computer to do much of
  27.         the work of comparing two different Genealogical data bases.

  29.         The amount of information compared within both data bases is
  30.         determined by the operator.  The choices are; 1. Direct line,
  31.         Ancestors only, 2. All lines, Ancestors & Decedents except
  32.         multiple marriages.  If the individual, marriage or notes are not
  33.         the same, the differences are displayed on the screen, printed 
  34.         and/or copied to a compare log.  A different RIN or MRIN is not
  35.         considered a difference.  This eliminates a lot of printing and
  36.         proofing required to do the same job with only PAF.
