  1.      By default S95=0 gives the computer-modem connect speed.  So

  3. whatever speed (19,200  38,400   57,600) you have set, the  modem
  4.  
  5. will  respond in kind, even if the modem-modem connect  is  2400.
  6.  
  7. S95=1  will  give  true modem-modem connect  speed,  ie;  a  2400
  8.  
  9. connection will say CONNECT 2400. S95=2 will add \Arq to  default
  10.  
  11. for  error correction conections, ie; CONNECT 19,200 \Arq.  S95=3
  12.  
  13. will  give modem connect speed with \Arq  ie; CONNECT 2400  \Arq.
  14.  
  15. If your software recognizes \Arq it may be a good idea to add it,
  16.  
  17. via the S95 register.
  18.  
  19.      The  default  S36=7  enables buffering so  that  the  modem-
  20.  
  21. computer speed may differ from the modem-modem speed.
