  1.      Because  of the 'sleep' mode on the Zoom Pocket/modem,  some

  3. software has trouble initializing the modem. If the software uses
  4.  
  5. CTS/RTS  and  the modem is 'asleep' it will not wake up.  If  you
  6.  
  7. cannot turn OFF CTS/RTS flow, you can get around this by  turning
  8.  
  9. the modem OFF, and just before the Init (or dial) turn it ON.  It
  10.  
  11. will be awake for a few seconds and get initialized (or dialed).
  12.  
  13.      Also  this  modem  is CLASS-1 fax, and  your  software  must
  14.  
  15. support and be set for CLASS-1.
