  1.      There are 3 types of Zoom famodems. Sendfax (send only),

  3. Class-2  and Class-1. The software you use has to match the  type
  4.  
  5. of  fax-modem. Class refers to the way the Software talks to  the
  6.  
  7. modem,  not the kind of fax machine. HCS and MXS  are  send-only.
  8.  
  9. AFC/AFX & Pkt are Class-1. All other Zoom faxmodems are Class-2.
  10.  
  11.      No Zoom FaxModem is CAS compatible without a CAS driver.
