  11.      First on the dialing modem you put the phone number to  call

  13. in Z0 with ATZ0=phone-number. Then that (originating) modem  gets

  15. AT&F&C1&D2&Q2&S1.  The  answering modem  AT&F&Q3&S1S0=1.  If  the
  16.  
  17. originating  modem is a terminal rather than a PC, AT&F&Q2&S1  is
  18.  
  19. used.  On  a PC &S1 'may' need to be &S0 instead.  When  you  are
  20.  
  21. satified with the string, AT&W will save it to NV RAM, so it will
  22.  
  23. boot in your default setup.

  25.      Once  this is done, the opriginating modem will  DIAL,  when
  26.  
  27. DTR  is  raised  by software (just  loading  Procomm  or  another
  28.  
  29. terminal package).
