ZIPMGR V1 Update History Copyright Marshall H. Goodman Software Ltd.
Jan 30, 1993 Shareware Point Release 1.5 (Initial Compuserve version)
- Version 1.4 was uploaded missing two files, ZIPMGR.DBF and ZIPMGR.EXE
My appologies to those who downloaded that release.
Jan 29, 1993 Shareware Point Release 1.4
- Various minor bugs (usability, etc.) corrected.
Jan 23, 1993 Shareware Point Release 1.3
- Video Resolution problem crops up again, 800x600 works on my machine
but not 1024x760. I put in a dialog box warning with an exit.
- SETUP_ZM.EXE now creates all sub-directories under ZIPMGR.
- I hopefully fixed some usability problems in this release.
- Your comments are welcome.
Jan 21, 1993 Shareware Point Release 1.2
- of course, after I uploaded version 1.1, there was a problem. It was
discovered that the .DLL's required to run ZIPMGR V1.1 could not be
located by ZIPMGR on startup. It happened on a system where the shell
was not program manager (it was Norton Desktop for Windows). I hope
that this problem is solved. Please let me know if this is fixed.
- included VBRUN100.DLL in distribution package.
- copy VBRUN100.DLL into \WINDOWS sub-directory as default on initial setup
- other sundry bugs fixed.
Jan 17, 1993 Shareware Point Release 1.1
- fixed Database Search routine
- copy SETUPKIT.DLL into \WINDOWS sub-directory as default on initial setup
- re-inforced need for VBRUN100.DLL to run ZIPMGR V1 in READ1ST.DOC

- All archives (ZIP,PAK,ARC,LHA,LHArc,ZOO,ARJ) now implemented correctly
Dec 19, 1992 Initial Shareware Release (to CRS and FutureTron)
Nov 30, 1992 Beta Point Release 1.1 (not generally released)
- created custom installation program SETUP_ZM.EXE from VB Prof. Toolkit
- fixed index allocation problem
- added Microsoft Help for online help
- added Pack and Index Test / ReIndex
- made distribution into a self-extracting zip called ZIPMGRV1.EXE
- made several appearance changes - eliminated a level of buttons to
make access to the processes faster
- working up to production release
Aug 5, 1992 (ZIPMGRc release, limited to beta testers)
- added ARJ and LHA/LHARC archiver support to registered version
- different screen resolutions now supported.
- added PAK and ZOO archiver support to registered version
- decided to limit screen resolution to 640x480 because the custom
painted backgrounds will not display correctly at any other resolution.
June 21,1992 (ZIPMGRb Release)
- archiver utility program path problem fixed. This problem could
have appeared as an inability to use your chosen archiver utility
because it was not in your default path and the program was not
picking up the specified utility sub-directory.

- fixed label on change directory window to reset it, if a
configuration request has changed the label to something else.
