  31. spectre of drought.  In astral terms, 'Oppression' implies an aspect of
  32. opposition between Venus and Saturn.  Here the nurturing and sustenance of
  33. the common people (Venus) is denied by the brevity and frugality of grim
  34. Saturn.  The highly placed lines are complacent and satisfied like the lake,
  35. while the lowly must toil in the troubles of the abyss.  K'un demands
  36. continuous effort and fluidity with no outlook of assistance from above.
